“Our Children Deserve Every Opportunity Science Can Offer”—The Hill Family Story

Two of my three children were diagnosed with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, a rare genetic condition. One of its symptoms is retinitis pigmentosa, which led to their progressive vision loss—stealing their sight and bringing additional health challenges. Federal research gave us answers when nothing else could.
